Nazis looked for Arian origins in Tibet

I just caught a few garbled seconds of this story on "Public Radio International,"To the Best of Our Knowledge" on NPR this morning. Heinrich Himmler sent a team of 5 reserchers to Tibet to look for evidence of the of the original Arian tribes, fabled to be from there. I don't know if it was in 1936-but maybe Thot was one of these guys- another archaeoligist? Anyway, I heard the word "occult" and something like "obssesed with the occult"
