Why doesn't Lucas care about making money?

Lucas seems to be giving the Episode 1 video away: You can get the pan-and-scan version for $ 17 bucks and the widescreen version (with those cool film strips) is only $ 30 bucks. Lucas must really love the fans to be giving away the film! Thanks Lucas! You are the greatest!
