Variations in the Miller

I received my 3rd Miller 3 days after I ordered it, talk about fast service! I have just finished modifying it, and although it is styled exactly like my last one, I was surprised to discover that it is 1/4 inch taller on the sides. This new hat measures 5 1/2 inches on the sides as compared to 5 1/4 on the 2nd hat I bought. My first hat measures the same as the 2nd. Just thought I'd pass this on to potential buyers. This third hat also had a 2 7/8 brim, while the 2nd hat measured in at 2 3/4. I cut this new hat down to 2 5/8 on the sides and with the extra height, it looks really good. Patterson might like this one. By the way, has anyone heard from him recently? He seems to have gotten himself lost in the jungle somewhere! Regard, Steve
