I'm sorry about posting a new message as a reply yesterday. I beg for
your forgiveness. Anyhow, here is what I wrote and probably nobody
ever saw:
Hi everyone. New guy here. Has anybody an opinion on this?
If it is true that
1 Spielberg recently promised that there will be another Indy movie
2 'Minority Report' is scheduled to begin filming in March or April
2001 and not this year [Spielberg will be avaikable this summer]
3 Ford has pulled out of 'Traffic' to do a yet undisclosed action
movie [Ford will be free this summer]
4 this undisclosed action film is not 'The Sum of All Fears'
5 Ford does not seem unwilling to do another Indy [asked about a
future Indy movie at the AFI ceremony, he reportedly pointed at
Lucas and said: "Light a fire under his ass!"]
What do we conclude from all this, Watson?... Well, of course it is
all just idle speculation. Especially, since Lucas's role as producer
requires his full attention, and I am sure he will be busy writing the
script of Episode 2 well into production, not to mention directing and
a looong post production. Would he be willing to produce Indy 4
without being able to give 100% of his input?
Just some more thoughts. Any comments? Later, Fall Guy
