If someone posts from a machine I don't have listed as me, it'll will put the red message to warn people to be a little more critical of the content. Anyone can have this protection if they send me the details of their IP. However, many don't have a clue what an IP is or what pattern applies, but just the threat of impersonator protection seems to be enough to stop it. When we've had a flare up of imposters its easy to squelch them with this system, but when things are peaceful it can get a little annoying to have false warnings pop up.
