Don't think I'm a weirdo just because I work in a museum library. Think I'm a weirdo because I dig up books like this: How to Make Whips, by Ron Edwards (ISBN 0-87033-513-8). I found it in this month's Cornell Maritime Press catalog (1-800-638-7641). Yes, for just$24.95, you too can enter the exciting world of whip manufacturing! Tease your friends! Annoy your neighbors! The book also tells you how to make bullwhips, snake whips and kangaroo-hide whips.
