: Thanks!! But can you post instructions for getting it into the phone?
There are four ways:
a: Find someone who can assemble or sell a cable to connect the phone to your PC via COM1 or COM2 port, for free or for a very small fee. Many people do that and they advertise on the Net, newsgroups, etc. Then, when you have the cable, find a program which can upload tones via it. There are some freeware ones (e.g. Nokring) or shareware ones (e.g. on www.kesslerdesign.de, www.logomanager.co.uk). Just use the soft and the cable
b: Go to www.wildies.de/nokia and get the Nokia Smart Message Manager. This one can upload the tone via your modem to your phone, using the right SMS center. It has a list of many such centers in many countries. You'll need to find out which one works for you, and you'll have to set your network operator, too.
c: Buy Nokia Cellular Data Suite, Nokia's software packet with the cable and the software included. It costs a few hundred dollars, so I'd say it's the most irrational solution. :)
Cheers. :)
