I made one about 18 yrs ago, while in a high school crafts class ( yes I just dated myself there)....I used a post, with an eyelet that was larger on one end...so when you fasten it, the post fits through the large end, and the weight of the whip pulls down, drawing the smaller end over the post. It keeps my whip in place just fine ( yes I still have it), and my whip is a whopping heavy 16 footer!!
LMK if I cna help any more,

: Nothing in the vault under a search for whipcarrier, whipholder, whipholster, etc., but I do remember seeing someone mention their disappointment with N.Howard's carrier recently (kept coming unsnapped). I'm interested in hearing anyone else's whipcarrier info. For example, what was Lee Keplar's like? If you've made one (as I am designing to do) please share your trial and errors with the rest of us. Thanks. This forum has proven most useful, maybe if my carrier works out well I'll answer your questions for a change!
