Do you have a local saddlery store? There's one a few miles from me, and while they offer a lot of cowboy boots and ugly bolo ties, their selection of hats is amazing. I know Indy doesn't wear a cowboy hat (that's a rather touchy subject with some Indyfans), but I've found that a few saddlery stores I've been to usually stock fedoras. If you're looking for info on mail ordering a hat, I'm afraid I don't have much on that subject. I'm more of a store-man myself.... Hope this helps (although I suspect it doesn't).
