I can only add this to what you've said - when I ordered my whip in February I was told that there was a bit of a waiting list and to be patient as Mr. Morgan would "get around" to making my whip. I received another e-mail at the end of April stating that Mr. Morgan was running a bit behind with the usual production delays. I was not left wondering whether or not he was making it personally. I would imagine that he's a very busy man and maybe he did have some help; but I would guess that his hand guided whoever was making it. This doesn't really help you obviously, just my experience.
