Better act fast on getting another one. Browning has stopped importing the Hi-Power because it is their only firearm that they feel might subject them to lawsuits. All their other firearms are shotguns and, as such, are seen to have a more "sporting" purpose. If you really want one, you can still find them in a weekly publication called "The Gunlist", which is far more useful than the "Shotgun News" for individual collectors. It's rather hard t find, though. Only the larger book stores seem to have them. I recently found an unfired, 1972-vintage, blue steel Hi-Power with fixed sights through this weekly. The same guy had 3 unfired, early-seventies vintage, Hi-Powers with adjustable sights.
Michaelson, what sayeth thee?
