All hats shrink some over time. Some more than others. Fur felt will suffer less shrinkage than wool. If you want to prevent your hat from shrinking, buy a hat stretcher. You can order them from David Morgan's web site (http://www.davidmorgan.com) for about $15. They keep your hat sized correctly when you're not wearing it.
