I wore my "ruined" Miller in the rain yesterday since my bumberchute broke and I wished to not be soaked on my way to work.

Since my hat is already damaged from a car door, I was prepared to sacrifice it, but to my surprise, it shed water well and hasn't shrunk.

While I'd not make a habit of this, my experience shows me a little rain (ok a fairly decent amount even) won't kill it.

BTW, I think Steve has had some shrinkage issues, so YMMV...
