Sonic Boom! Wow! I didn't know they had it in 'em!

I was at the US wings site and I was looking at the whips. When I got to the bottom of the page, it metioned that the "crack" is actualy a small sonic boom! The tip of the whip actualy travels faster than the speed of sound!
