The reason I'm doing this is so I can compile all the info, and then decide which is best for what occasion (i.e general wear, adventuring, weather conditions etc.)

As for the materials, with beaver being a protected animal in the UK, I would have to go for either full mink (toooo expensive) or rabbit fur (which is more likely) so I will have no basis for comparison, only the knowledge that some of you guys provide.
