: Everyone I'm hearing from says Mink. Remember, they did a lot of digital lightening of the hat in the movies. I'm thinking I'd like to compare Mink and Char Brown (darker).

The mink color on my Peters bros. is dark enough. It's a hair darker than my mink brown stetson nostalgia (I have two, compared it to the one that's not faded). Personally, I wouldn't want to go any darker on the color, although a shade or two lighter might be nice.
