Infernal Machine Glitches

To anyone who's played this thing:

I'm stuck on the Tian River, and I don't like it.

During the part where you have to collect the four candles, after you get the first few, you have to take this elevator back up. Everytime I get on the damn thing, the game freezes up. Any suggestions?
