A-2 "Vintage Lambskin" question....

I saw a pretty slick A-2 jacket at US Wings(link below) and I was wonderin' about the leather it's made out of. It says it's "vintage lambskin". I was just wonderin' if lambskin in general is all pretty consistent. I've got a new finish lambskin Wested that still looks brand-spankin' new. Does all lambskin hold up this long? I kinda want an A-2 that'll look worn-in and I don't want it to take 40 years to look that way. So I guess what I'm asking is does anybody in here think the "vintage lambskin" will age faster than the lambskin Westeds?
