: : : : Any chance that those of us who haven't been following this discussion very closely will see a laundry list of differences between this jacket and the Raiders Wested? If there's a post like this, please forgive me, but I'd like to know the message number.
: : : : Thanks,
: : : : Micah
: : : I can rattle one off the top of my head, though at this point I'm sure Dr. Brody and Michaelson will catch any omissions:
: : : The Wested's collar stand is too high.
: : : The Wested's storm flap is too wide.
: : : The Wested does not have underarm gussets.
: : : The Wested has d-rings vs. rectangular rings on the original.
: : : The Wested's side straps are attached too close to the hand warmers.
: : : The Wested's side straps are attached too low in relation to the cargo pockets.
: : : The Wested's side straps and rings are just attached incorrectly.
: : : The bi-swing pleat on the Wested is too shallow.
: : : The side vent on the Wested is too short.
: : : The Wested has a nasty habit of not having the shoulder yoke across the back being adjusted for different sizes, resulting in the seams not lined up correctly, resulting in the bi-swing pleat operating improperly.
: : : Leather collar facings...
: : : Oh, no - I'm running out of gray matter – what have I missed, guys?
: : : Cheers!

: The side straps are facing the wrong direction on the Wested as well, or is that what you were talking about above?
: By the way, I want one of these new ones as soon as they are available.
: OBSESSION!!! OBSESSION!!!
Side straps on the Wested do face the correct diretion - i.e. rings on the back and straps up front. Are you thinking of the Disney jacket?
Cheers!
