Agree! Kinda. I must admit, I never liked seeing Indy with an eyepatch in YIJC, but on a middle aged Indy, it would look pretty darn cool.

On the other hand, Lucas basically pulled that speculation trick already -- for the entire duration of the Young Indy series. I don't see any harm in giving the audience a good story by showing Indy lose his eye. Of course, he could always just plunge his head into a bowl full of Grail Water(tm)...
