1930's adventure books

Can anyone recommend a good series or author of adventure books set in the 1930's, similiar to Raiders? I've read most of the IJ books, but want to expand out to other stories. I love the transportation, clothing, weapons and general differences in the time change. They don't need to be written in that time, just set in the pre-WWII era. Can anyone help?
