Temple of Doom on Sci Fi Channel

I just watched Temple of Doom on the Sci Fi Channel The Widescreen Version-The first time I ever seen a Widescreen version of a Indiana Jones movie -Is there some extra footage in it or something-Because something just seems differnt. Has anybody else noticed this.
