The differences have been covered in posts, emails, and long distance phone calls over the last 4 or 5 months. We took the approach of looking at the digitally remastered RotLA using some toys I had access to at work - a Sun Microsystems server running some pretty cool imaging software and a 31 inch digital monitor. We spotted differences in the jackets, but quite frankly the only difference that could be nailed was the d-ring vs. rectangular rings. Some scenes seemed to have both jackets in them, both clearly worn by Ford, i.e. you're seeing the mans face.

Anyway, we went round and round with this, while I had been pursuing the possibility of getting access to an actual jacket. When that was dropped into our collective laps, we jumped at it. Why look at frames when you have a documented real thing in front of you. That's the way we went.

Beyond this, I really do not have the energy to rehash this every time it pops up. We know we ned to revamp the IndyGear FAQ, but really need to wait until we have jackets in hand. One we are there, I've promised to rewrite the FAQ.

Hey, I'm just a fan who has had a bit of luck and been able to focus on this for a time. To be honest, I have a real job that is actually what pays the mortgage. This is supposed to be just a hobby. Know what I mean?
