As I hunted around the FS website, I caught something on the Historical Horsehide A2 page.
It said that they have taken into consideration the "fattening of America" [not quite how they put it :) ] since the 30s, and so, instead of ordering your jacket one size larger, just order whatever size you really are. Jackets have gone "relaxed fit" everybody!
In other words, a size 44=a size 44.
However, if your Indy outfit includes baggy pants and an hilarious floppy oversized fedora, maybe ordering a size larger is a good idea...
