I for one HATED the old Indy segments. I cannot conceive of a feeble Indy. And to be totally honest, I really could never get into the stories. I could not "buy" Sean Patrick Flannery as young Indy. He just wasn't Indy.He had none of the mannersims, nothing.

Now River Phoenix did seem like a younger version of Indy. He emulated the way Ford moved, talked and acted. I guess Flannery did not go for that approach.
