Bigger Hand Warmer Pockets on a Wested?

Has anyone ever asked Peter to make the opening to the Hand Warmer slits (behind the cargo pockets) slightly larger so that you can easily get your hands into the? As it stands (depending on the size of your hand) it may be a bit of a struggle.

If so, what was the outcome? I'm interested in slightly larger openings, but don't want a jacket with exaggerated disformed pockets.
