I begin to wonder if the accepted way that the buckle is connected to the bag strap is correct. It seems to me, that the buckle is just a showpiece on the bag that doesn't actually "do" anything. My reasons for thinking this are that when the bag falls behind Indy you cannot see the buckle. Now this buckle is usually shown round about the middle of Indy's chest...so when the bag falls behind him a little bit...where does it go? Am I to assume that when the bag falls behind Indy that it not only gets behind his waist, but actually rides up his back? Thats where it would have to be not to see the buckle at his side. And I have never notices the strap being looped the way it is shown on IndyGear. I think the strap was a fixed length, and the buckle was a showpeice that prolly slid all over as HF ran/punched etc. That's just my opinion, I could eb wrong. -DF
