Currently the standard color for the hat is a mink brown, which is a dark brown, and a charcoal brown ribbon, which is dark brown that is darker than the mink and almost black. If you want you can get a black ribbon but I enjoy the dark brown ribbon and it is also more authentic (Indy's was dark brown). As for color of the hat itself if you want to have a authentic Indy go for the above specs, but if not Peter bros does offer it in other colors. I personally love my brown Indy hat with double bow dark brown ribbon.
