Gary White CLAIMS he made hats for the trilogy but these claims are unsubstantiated. I've posted this before but even other hatters don't like him. A couple I spoke to in my search for Petersham ribbon spoke badly or cautiously of him. One man told me that he was, and I quote, "A liar and a cheat" and said that I could tell Mr. White he said that too. Again, I've only had one interaction with Gary White and I found him completely unhelpful but this quote and other sentiments like it came from other hatters.
