I had a similar experience at a Halloween party I attended. Except, it was an old lady who asked, "Are you really a sheriff?" I told her no, then she asked who I was supposed to be. When I told her Indiana Jones, she said nothing. My ladyfriend was dressed as "streets of Cairo" Marion, complete with stuffed pupet monkey in a little red jacket. Lord knows who wondered what she was supposed to be!
