Roadster Factory MKVII bag arrived today........

Looks good, slight odor, outer side panels different shade of green than front of bag, exorbitant shipping charge ($7.75 for priority mail). What is this huge (ok, about 1") metal disk on the side right side? Off to the wash and to drill out this disk!
