: : : Yep! It just arrived, and OH, MY GAWD! What a work of art!
: : : The deerskin is ultra soft, and it kinda smells like I fell asleep on on of those expensive leather couches in the showroom - the ones where my wife always says "Get you feet down!"
: : : Anyway - I'm in heaven. It will be a battle between this and the roo skin US Wings every morning on the way out the door.
: : : Cheers!

: Also - another cool thing about deerskin. It requires little in the way of leather dressing or treatment. It is very resistant to drying - even when it gets really, REALLY wet. You can use Pecards or Lexol. Pecards will darken it a bit. I'm just leaving this alone, and am going to wear, wear, WEAR it until they either bury me in it or it falls apart. Then I'll order another one - I figure I have 50 years or so?
: Let me know if you want a sample - FS will send them as well, but I have a very large one I'd be happy to send for folks to swap.
: Cheers!

The deerskin is easy to maintain as well? It sounds better all the time. Of course, I'd love to get my fingers on a leather swatch! However, I have already ordered some samples myself. I thank you for your offer, but I'm sure someone else will be happy to rob you of your precious sample! ;)
