I suppose the trend is for leading males to be a bit more sensitive (or is that sensative?), but I think its because "tough guy" type actors these days are all pretty wooden and untalented. I'd like to see a return to the days when guys like Bogart or Mitchum were able to translate emotions well from a tough exterior without seeming too...uh...80s-ish.
