I'm Jewish and my personal religious beliefs did not cross my mind while
watching LC. Being a gentile, what did you think of "Schindler's List" or "The Ten Commandments?"
They were good movies too -- you're religion should not be a factor when watching movies.
Were you offended by Temple of Doom - because it dealt with the Indian culture?? NO, of course not --
it was a good movie (not as good as the other two) with great acting and lots of action. Who cares
what people/religious cults they are portraying. Do you understang what I'm trying to say?
And by the way, the Ark of the Covenant is a Jewish religious symbol. The Ten Commandments were brought down
from Mt. Sinai in 1250 BC (roughly) and by 1000 BC, the Great Temple was built to house it.
They were placed in the famous Ark and kept in Solomon's Temple, in Jerusalem, for a one thousand years before you Christians were
even a glimmer in Christ's eye :)
