PB Fedora size problem...

I recently purchased a PB Fedora, and when it arrived i put it on my head, i noticed it felt just a bit tight. It fits on my head etc, but when I take it off i get a red mark on my forehead from the front leather band. I REALLY like the look of this hat as its PERFECT just the way I wanted it.

My question is, is there anyway I could fix this myself or should I call PB and see what I can have done? I thought I'd try here first since Joe Jr is out for awhile...
