I own a 12 footer (besides a 10, 8 and a nylon 16 footer) from Mark Allen and it throws like a dream. I can even do target work with it and it's not too long to control. BTW, there's a new video by the Whipman (Peter Jack) in which he's showing how to have fun with those long whips - and we're talking 20 footers here!
However, I found that I need at least one more bullwhip - a 6 footer. And some stockwhips. And a snakewhip. And...
