Canyon of the Crescent Moon (aka Petra)

I just got a mailing about the AEP (American Expedition to Petra). This is an organization which does work at Petra each year. The catch is that (1) it cost $2500 plus air fare to Jordan, (2) it last for 6 weeks and you must sign on for the duration. Still, if I had the time I could find the money, and I would actually get to excavate where Last Crusade was shot.
