: : Does anyone know why the bookend device which used old Indy as the opening and closing narrator in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles has been removed from the movie versions?
: : Could this have a serious implication for Indy 4?
: Although I enjoyed seeing the old codger, he was apparently not popular with many people. Also, it was probably easier to edit the episodes together without the bookends.
: I doubt that his removal from the videos means anything to Indy 4.
I agree with Juinor Jones Old Indy was most likely removed to make it easier to piece together episodes for the Complete Adventures of Indiana Jones. But i have also heard that Indy will lose his eye in Indy 4 (Old Indy had a eye patch) but that's just a rumour.
