Question for NE1 who has the Toys mccoy IJ figure

Greetings.
I have a strange question.
Could someone who has the Toys Mccoy Indiana Jones figure tell me what the hat is constructed from?
I am doing a custom IJ figure and the trickiest part seems to be creating a miniature fedora. I am leaning towards a flocked paper or fabric so it will be in scale. From the internet pics of the Toys Mccoy fig it looks like the hat may have a simulated felt texture.
