I remember Patterson saying that the lining was a polyester/cotton blend. That material was picked because it's very resistant to wear, and also because it's pretty slick. Personally, I'm not a fan of synthetics, and I would have preferred a cotton lining. Maybe I'll change my mind after having laid my hands on one of these jackets.

PS: My Wested is six moths old, no signs of wear yet...
: Does the Flight Suits come with a satin-type lining? It's hard to tell from the pictures but the lining appears to have somewhat of a "satiny" sheen to it.
: If it is satin, is it tougher than Wested's satin? Will it hold up to "Indy-like" abuse?
