The frustrating part is...

I had to check out a hints website so I know what must be done. But the frustrating thing is that I AM using the "up" button. I've tried both the rotating(analog is it called?) button and the traditional direction pad. I got nothin'. The "tractor beam" just drops me like yesterday's boy band. I'm so mad at this game, at this point I just thank God I don't work at the Post Office.
