Is Clooney gearing up to be Indy?

Watched him on the Jay Leno Show last night and it sure looked like he had a pair of Aldens on. I even taped it and paused and still think that's what they were.
p.s. 'O Brother' is a great movie. He would most certainly make a great Indiana Jones. Better than that old fart Harrison Ford will, anyway.
