Jonathan Hales was brought in AFTER the plot summary, was made. He's just there to fix some dialogue mistakes Mr. Lucas made, he has nothing to do with the story itself. And for a movie like this, I doubt a plot summary was made. The story is clearly bull, it's so obvious that they pieced it together from the rumors.
