Not to mention illegal. Bidding on an item implies a contract with the seller. Breaking that is Bad Thing (TM). DO NOT DO THIS. You are just asking for trouble.

It's noble to try to stop the less-informed from making a mistake, but don't do it at the expense of your own good reputation.
