Are you implying that soil colorization describing is women's work? I guess that would explain such color names as "periwinkle blue" and "henna brown". If we manly men do it we might use terms like "Madonna's nipple purple" or "first pee of the morning yellow" or "graml's butthide pasty white"...ah, heck, anybody else have any? The possibilities are endless.
