Can't argue with any of your reasoning. Whenever you hear Ford and Spielberg talk about Indy IV, they seem ready to go. Lucas is the holdout. Not only was this latest Star Wars movie a bit hooky, but the ORIGINAL Star Wars, while excellent, is much campier than the other two. These instances seem to show that Lucas is simply an average director ... and likely jelous of Mr. Spielberg.
Of course, without him, there's no Indiana Jones. Give the man his props.
