An Indy figure question The original figure that is

Hey Guys,
I know you guys are tired of posts about the Indy figures but I have a question regarding the original. On mine that I got way back in the 80's the thumb on his right hand broke off. Too many adventures I guess. Anyhow is there anything out there that you guys have used to fix broken thumbs, like that sculpy stuff I have heard about? Is there any other advice that you guys have that can help out?
