My first PB had the wide sweatband, but my second one I had Joe put the 1 1/2 inch in. Plus this narrower band was brown. This last hat holds the pinch better low on the crown. I think I suggested this narrower band when you were in the process of making up your mind on the PB. Regards, Fedora
