Question re: Dreamworks/Paramount

Hey gang:

What's up with the Dreamworks/Indy IV rumours? Does Paramount have ANY property rights when it comes to Indiana Jones beyond the original 3 films?

It seems odd to me that Paramount would not be THE studio releasing it, unless it was a joint production between Lucasfilm/Dreamworks/Paramount. That doesn't seem likely!

I won't even mention the continuity with the other films' opening (I want a mountain!) but doesn't it seem weird to anyone that the only "breaking" news source was a CG-newscaster in Britain? While Ford is in Toronto shooting K-19?

I want to believe this as much as the rest of you, but I still hafta wonder....
Any thoughts?
