I bought the MkVII bag a couple of years ago, and everywhere that sold leather straps or items, I would look into finding a close looking strap for my bag. I have to tell you that I looked almost everywhere and found nothing good. Surprisingly, I found one- in Istanbul, Turkey. My wife's father has a friend who owns a gun shop and he had some holster straps that looked perfect! I had to buy two to make it long enough, but with a little bit of ingeniuty, I got them connected and they look great. Good color, very strong, and cheap too! So I would suggest taking a look inside a gun shop sometime- who knows, you might find something nice there.

Otherwise, head over to Istanbul. Their economy is in such a state of inflation right now that you could get about a hundred straps for the price of one here.
